Question Kartboy shifter vibration

Does anyone have a vibrition from the short shifter at > 4,000 rpms? If I grab the shifter knob and squeeze it it doesn't make as much noise. I've tightend the shifter and screwed on the knob really tight (I don't want to strip it). any help would be appreciated.

not a vibration, but a hum (I can hear the tranny through the shifter). It's due to the removal off the big dampner that your stock shifter has.

i dont think its a clearence issue. i played with it for a while so you wont have to butcher your interior to make the shifter work . you might want to try and recheck the center bolt on the pivot. and this would be a great time to lube the center bushing while you ahve it all apart. i'll bet a buck that is what your problem is.
