Post NA Intake Supercharging

Check this out if you're into NA engines.

According to this the RS intake manifold is already the proper length for increased Volumetric Efficiency, if you measure to the plenum.

But what if you measure to the air inlet?
That would make a filter that uses the hood scoop for cold air better. Has anyone tried this?

Brucelee, burninrubber, and dcrawford and 8Complex have all done something in this vien, different variations - burninrubber actually sealed his airbox to the scoop and found he was pressurizing the crankcase throught the three lines running to his airbox. This is NOT good.

Also, I make cold air intakes that retain the stock air plenum, and hundreds of people are happy with them. The air plenum does indeed tune intake pulse harmonics.
