Dealer Recommened Clutch Replacement??

I have my car over at the dealer right now getting the clutch chadder checked out. They called and told me that because of the fact that the clutch is te weak point of the car that replacing it with another stock clutch would be useless. The dealer and SOA recommended that I pick up an ACT street clutch. They also told me that SOA worked with dealt directly with ACT for designing the clutch for the WRX. Makes me wonder why they did not just build the car with a stronger clutch to begin with. "Fuji is a bunch a cheap asses" this is a direct quote from the tech over at the daler.

He told me that he is not looking forward to dealing with the WRX when comes out because that car is going to modified to hell. Oh well food for thought for those of you with same problem....

What year is your car? Just curious, cause I'm hoping that this isn't something that I'll have to deal with, since it's a 2001. Or will I?
