Post My car lags!!!!!!! With no Turbo!!!!!!!!

This has only happened twice. I was driving at 30mph at 2,500 rpm in third gear. The car started lagging and bucking when I would accelerate. It felt like I was in fifth gear at 20 mph, if you know what I mean. Any ideas?????

It's all those ! marks that are making your car lag. Stop abusing them and your car will be normal again.

Your check engine light isn't on is it? Could be a bad o2 sensor, but if that was the case the CE light would turn on.

I agree with Dustin.
I had a similar problem, and it turned out to be a bad o2 sensor. Though I have to disagree about the CE light coming on right away. I had about 3 trips to the dealer and about 400 miles of a west coast roadtrip before the CE light came on after I first noticed the lag. Have it looked at.

Yeah, I'm getting my new O2 sensor today. Trey at Cobb Tuning told me that Subaru used a faulty batch of O2 sensors on some of their cars. He also said that if I replace my O2 sensor that I will get no Check Engine light even with my new Borla header.

P.S. Sorry about the exclamation points. I didn't know.

What mods do you have? One of those might be causing the problem. Maybe a leaking hose?

Is this the same RS that was in Tacoma Subaru Nissan the other day with the huge spoiler, ricy intake, and the stock rims? Cuz if it is, your s-AFC might not be tuned correctly.

edit: additions.
