I took my 2001 RS with 3000 miles on it to Sears Point Raceway in California a couple weeks ago. I have a JC sports intake and a subaru /brospeed muffler and the best I could get out of it was 16.1. I cannot find the time slip for the 16.1 but I have the one that I got 16.202@84.567mph. I let out the clutch at 3000-4000 rpms and got a .586 reaction time which I think is pretty good. I did not like my 60 foot which was 2.303. I put the subaru short throw shift kit just after I went there and I think it might help me in my quest to get a fifteen. I was a little dissapointed because I know they can run a fifteen stock. Maybe I am not used to my car yet.

Oh yeah, I am willing to bet any amount of money that a stock RS won't pull 13's or 14's. Maybe with turbo or a lot of engine work.

BTW.. it's a 2000 RS. my real name is bret hedges. I'm going to the track tonight to TRY and hit a 15.5.. seems VERY doable

If it was colder like last week woulda had a 15.3 maybe.. I had some wheel spin too and then the car PULLED in 3rd and 4th.. thanks larry .. sorry. I'm just happy

I went last saturday...no scanner but...
MY00 RS
with the underdrive pulley, larry's intake, and short shifter I managed a 15.7 @ 84mph
there was about a 20-30mph head wind so it will go faster...
Last night I just got my rallispec exhaust on but have to wait till next racing season
My best 60' was 2.04 secs
Anyone have suggestions on how to go faster??
I launched at 4500rpm and power shifted.

this is my best time ever, and it was only the third time ran the car ever. 16.159@83.94mph the time slip on your right.

This is laucing around 3500-4500, im not sure broke the front loose for a good while, not really dumping the clutch either. Shifting at redline never hitting 5th gear.(not power shifting)

im in the goodyear lane.

100% stock.

My best is actually a 16.19-something with an ambient temperature over 100 degrees. I have a time slip, but I haven't scanned it. I'm going to make another run this winter when it's cooler.

The track I did my run at was at Cecil County Raceway.

Also, you can take some information off of my ancient webpage: http://www.geocities.com/infonympho/Registry.html

I don't work on it anymore and the times are not updated. Still, you can use some of that info until that person contacts you with their update. L8Rs
