Default Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well after hunting all over hells half acres I finally found hubcentric rings to fit my WRX and my 5ziegens. I put them on and on first test drive I thought right on the vibration is gone. But yesterday I drove back to Fox Creek and the friggen vibration s back. Only thing is, its not as bad and it isnt consistant. Sometimes it will go away totally and then come back for a bit then go away. And the vibration goes away and stays away above 120 km/h.

So when I got to Fox I took at look at the tires. I ran my hand over the surface of the tire and it feels like there may be some high spots in the tread. I checked all 4 and they all seem to have it, some worse then others. Now could this be causing my vibration?

Guess thats what i get for buying cheap a$$ tires hey.

Well if you have high spots on the tires, it might help to get the tread shaved to get the tires round and true. If that doesn't work, you should auto-x them so you can justify getting new ones sooner!

Sounds like you have some abnormal tread wear. You can try simply swaping your front and back tires to see if it will minimize the vibration. If that doesn't help you may be looking at new tires. How much is left on your tires anyway?

I've swapped them out every which way from sunday and nothing really helps. And the tires are almost brand new....only have about 8000 kms on them.

Has this vibration been happening since you got them? One time I had my winters put on my stang and the brainiac tried leaving on the previous tires weights on the rim. Needless to say I was back the next day wondering why I was having vibration at speed. Turned out he was a brand new guy. Any chance they didn't balance them properly? At any rate I'd go back to where you bought the tires and tell them the problem.

I've had them balanced 3 times at 2 different places. Im thinking Im gonna go to a tire shop, have them look at them and see if the uneven surface could be the cause the go back to where I bought them....I didnt buy them from a tire shop.
