Re-Balancing Stock 04 BBS Rims w/ Sticky Weights

So I read the thread about the sticky weights being bad to use when balancing the 04 STi BBS rims due to the Brembo clearance issues. So how do the STi owners balance their wheels then? Most tire shops nowaday only use the sticky weights. My Bridgestones are wearing out and I will need some new tires soon. TIA.

i just make sure they use slim sticky weights... the ones i have are SUPER CLOSE to the calipers ... there is maybe room for a penny between the caliper and the weight...

tell them to balance on the other side of the rim (interior)
