Default Pocketbike racing in Colorado?

Does anyone know if there are any sanctioned events or hell even small get togethers for pocketbike owners?

I just purchased a China bike (FF Cagllari/Daytona) and it's a real hoot to ride, but it's illegal to ride on the street plus extremely dangerous.

There were two sites I found but they are now dead: www.cpbra.tk and www.rmpb.org. I've found www.pocketbikeplanet. com and www.cagarmy.com but they haven't been of much help. I really want to try my hand at racing but can't find anything regarding pocketbikes and Colorado.

This is my gateway bike. If I like the racing and get decent at it then I'll move up to something nicer.

My friend and I just bought two cags a couple weeks ago. I have been looking into the racing scene a little, but haven't found much about it here in Colorado. I am going to call the guys up at the Erie go-kart track and ask them if they hold any mini gp races or know of anybody that does. If I find out anything I'll post here, or pm you and vise versa if you find out anything.

Also you might want to check out a post I made in OT a few days ago about my wreck involving a wheelie and no safety equipment. A big no-no, I had to learn the stupid way. Now I have knee/elbow pads, gloves and a helmet!

And here's a few pics of the bikes:

Yeah, cool. If I find anything I'll let you know. You know there is Mead Raceway off of I-25 near Erie and Second Creek Raceway. I wonder if they'd let a large group of us race on their road courses? I believe they are SCCA road courses.

I really don't like to ride on the street just because I can't hear cars and they sure as hell may not be able to see me. If my sons pick up on this pretty well I'll get me one also (maybe the new 7hp Cag Origami replica).

By the way, neoprene washers at all the engine mount points and thick rubber grommets under the seat definitely quiets some of the engine vibration.
