Default up pipe EGT probe

who here has experienced the EGT probe backing out on an aftermarket up pipe? what are the symptoms?

There is NO need for the stock probe in the UP....none....

Yeah, best to leave sensor alone until u swap a new up uppipe and try ot buy one without an egt bung...then get rid of the probe and put the resistor in.

i dont know what to plug the hole with in my pde up pipe. and this resistor...where the hell do u put it?

also found this condensed version...

"No o2 in the UP, it's in the manifold....plug the EGT bung with an M12x1.25 bolt and use a 2.2K ohm, 1/2 watt resistor in the receptical on the passengers side strut tower....no cat in the UP...no need for the stock EGT probe"

My egt probe backed out of my Vishnu 321 uppipe...

so i bought a 12x1.25mm bolt and 2.2kohm resistor and got rid of the probe.

The pipes that have no bungs of any kind in them are the best choice, imho.
