Default Blue Rear Blinker Bulbs??

I have a 02 WRX and i think the yellow blinker bulbs in the tail lights look a little ugly, could i change them to a white or blue bulb? what kind of bulb does it take? Thanx

I am doing the very same thing soon. Here is the site. I am going with LED White rears (1157) and fronts (1156) with the Konji HL mod.

(edit) Here is the site http://autolumination.com/1156_1157.htm

LEDs have a stronger life and take up less energy besides being brighter. Your lights may blink faster since LEDs take up less energy so your car will think your bulbs are burnt out..at least that's the case on my year imprezas.

Also do you know if it is legal in your state for your taillights to be anything other than orange? I know in CA our taillights need to blink orange or red. =/

These silver bulbs blink amber and fit the rear tail lights:

This company is in England but they are excellent to do business with. Stay away from odd colored lights. They are a police magnet.
You might as well hand a sign that says "stop me,stop me"

Blue blinkers, or blue lights anyplace front, rear or side, are illegal in any state.

Yep, had a blue LED over rear plate. Got pulled over by the first cop to see it.

I know for a fact in MA, the law states that the bulbs can't be blue if they blink, rotate or oscillate. But I have PIAA blinkers in the back which is a bluish bulb that blinks white and had ne problems with our finest.

i had blue blinkers bulbs in the front of my acura. cop said if they wanted to, they could hit you with 'impersonating a police officer' by having blue bulbs. probably a scare tactic, but not something i'd wanna risk over turn signals.

I changed my o3 blinkers from yellow to red. They can be red or yellow (Amber).
