Smile bed extender

I was driving my '04 turbo with 12,000 miles on it on Memorial Day Friday when a woman in a minivan turned left in front of me when I was doing about 35. No time even to react, so my Baja was totalled. I salvaged the bed extender. With my insurance company's help I replaced it with the exact same model- same color, everything but he turbo gauge. So now I have two bed extenders, and only need one. Is anyone interested? I am in the Philadelphia area.

I'd save it, as the bed exenders in Bajas are very easy to steal. Who knows, you just may need it...

No charge, but I don't know what shipping would cost. I don't have a box anywhere near that big. Do you have any ideas. I guess I could UPS it, but its pretty big.

They come apart into 3 pieces, middle section and the ends.I bought mine later on and i had to put it together.Very easy to do,that might make it alittle easier to ship that way.

Harder to steal than you think; if you have the factory alarm, and it's armed, it sounds as soon as you unlatch the tailgate. This I discovered at 3 in the a.m. when I was first shopping for them

The dealer security guard was impressed that I just stood there and waited for him to show up; after all, I wasn't going to steal the demo that had 5k miles on it.........

I took it apart today and it is more manageable than I thought. Thanks Ajabobrut.

Hey thats pretty good,I've done the same thing with mine.Mine gets me when i shut the topper door. Its louder than others,i added an extra horn.I got a high & low horn so it doesn't sound funny when it goes off.I got 4 horns in the front at 130 dbs each for those idiots that just don't see you.Let yourself be heard.

Oh, so what you're really saying is that Cantonment is just east of Alabama?
