what do you have your redline set at? What is safe on stock engine? Thanks

The ej22t bottom end supposedly can go to 7k even 8k stock. It's all in the heads really...

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong which I have a feeling I am

If you mean stock shortblock, then yeah, 8k is still safe.

I'm not stock however, and run mine at 7K .

7k on stock ej25 SOHC heads. No problems so far- but I ususally shift by around 6k anyway.

I am installing a turbo kit on a n/a ej22 my99. Need redline for stock engine.
