Thumbs down High pitched squeak from aftermarket intake?

I picked up an aftermarket intake for my 2004 TS, it's a AEM knock-off from e-bay.

I love how it pulls and sounds under medium to heavy throttle, but it makes a hissing noise under light throttle.

I've tried two different filters and it still does it. The only way I doesn't is filter-less and that is not really an option.

Anyone have similar experiences or ideas on how to make it stop?

Bry.

Isn't the hissing you're hearing just the intake ingesting air?

I know its just pulling air in, but its at a frequency level that people on the side of the road stop and stare.

Not really a Cobb and AEM all do the same thing with a simple cone filter, the only thing that keeps the Cobb quiet is the PDM style filter.

My COBB CAI doesn't "squeak" so much as "roar", although the noise has abated greatly since I turned the leading elbow from the fender to the stock underhood scoop.
