Post Clutch (or lack there of?)

Hello, curious as to your experience with the clutch on the 2.5. Since new, if engine rpm 3000 > tranny then pedal only comes up half of its travel till rpms match, then comes up remainder of travel. Changed tranny oil at approximatly 60,000 km and pedal felt better. Currently, approximatly 75,000 km. On upshifts (primarily 2-3) if engine rpm 1,500 rpm greater than tranny rpm slips till rpms match, then catches.

Clutch disk or pressure plate problem?

Recommendations for performance clutch?

Downshifts fine (double clutch), up shifts fine unless a little lazy and pedal out a little early. Cannot put power on till wait for engine rpm to drop.

Thanks in advance, Marc

Part II just learned from a parts fellow that the clutch for the 2.5 is revised. Apparently early on the clutches lacked longlevity and following numerous complaints Subaru revised the clutch. Asked Subaru about this and they are claiming ignorance. Hear anything about this? Any related documentation? Regards, Marc.
