Thumbs up Woohoo! Ganzflow + Amsoil

Well, I finally got the Amsoil installed along with the Ganzflow intake, and I reset the ECU. This is one thing you can definitely feel! It absolutely shines above 3k rpm and the sound it makes is just beautiful. I have noticed a definite increase in accelaration. No news on top speed though because 1. I'm not in the mood for a ticket just now 2. All the roads around me are 25 mph limits and 3. I still have 250 miles until the engine is broken in.

I don't know what else to say except this set up rocks!

Thumbs up

You should be proud of them, it's a great setup with several plus's and no minus's. Kudos!
P.S. Recently got my short-shifter from Larry, and it's great. I recommend Larry highly, great prices, great service.

Yeah Larry's really cool, he just up and sends you free stuff

Seriously...very good vendor, great service, now if he'd just get in some black SUBARU seat belt pads!

Jose, you should get the same gains with your K&N filter. For every 10 degree of air temperature drop you get an extra 1% power - so a 60 degree drop would be 10 hp (about the biggest temperature difference you will ever see between the engine bay and inner fender). Even driving in stop and go traffic the temperature difference was measured at about 30 degrees, which is about an extra 5hp just from that.

Then there is some improvement from the less restrictive air tubing, although the stock airbox is still somewhat restrictive. We are working on an airbox modification that would open it up a bit.

All I know is that it drops 0-60 by about 0.6 seconds, and people with GanzFlow intakes are posting qtr mile times about 15.3 seconds. It raised my top speed at 6,000 feet altitude from 120 mph to 126 mph, and with a stromung catback top speed climbed from there to 131 mph at 5,850 rpm top gear.

Thanks!
