Default Intercooler options??

I'm finishing my jdm ej20 swap and I know have to worry about the IC issue. What top mounts fit in the engine bay? I just found the wrx i/c is out of the list cause is to hard to make it fit.

If you are doing a swap for an ej20 engine ( i assume you are using the ej20 intake manifold) you should be able to use any TMIC used in the regualr WRX.
This become a problem in the regular 2.5rs since the throttle sits several inches back in the engine bay.

its its the older ej20g then you will have to make some modifications to the ic and pipes to get the usdm ic to fit. The older ej20g came with an air to water ic, but the early wrx ic is an air to air which will bolt right up.

More info would help

The WRX intercooler will fit, it's just a bitch to put it in and take it out.

If you used the USDM cross member, none of the aftermarket TMIC's will fit, (hood won't close) because the engine will be about 3/4" higher than with the older cross memebers.
