Default 17 x 8 Rota Torques, 20 lbs.?

weighed my 17 x 8 rota torques on a pricey UPS scaled that has proved accurate on previous wheel weigh ins. My torques weighed 20 lbs even. all 4 of them. has anyone else actually weighed theirs to see if they match the advertised 18.1 - 18.5? or is my scale retarded?

hmm what color is your rims. I know the silver are much lighter then the darker colored rims. The paint = the weight, maybe.

the 18 pound weights refer to the 17x7.5 width

+1.5-2 lbs. for an extra .5 inch of width sounds reasonable, assuming the 18.1-18.5 lbs. figure is for the 17x7.5 wheel.

According to vendor websites and Rota, the 8" wheel weighs 18.1 - 18.5 lb. in silver. the 7.5" wheel weighs in the 17 - 17.5 lb range.

Like I said, it could still be my scale. I'd weigh them on a different scale, but I already mounted them.

The official weight for the Torque in 17x8 offset 48 5 holes is 18.48 lbs per piece. Our scales are independently certified by SGS so this should be spot on

I concur. I weighed my Silver Torques 17x8 when I got them and they were just about 18.5.

I just emailed you, Subydude, for just such a list and then googled this thread up by chance. Is the list in existence yet?

I know it is a 6 year old thread, but did this list ever make it to the web?
