Default Turbo 2012/2013 with CVT?!

I'm not planning on voiding my warranty any time soon, but I was curious about the idea of putting a turbo on the 2.0i with the CVT transmission. I would assume it would spool up pretty quick and stay there since the transmission just has one gear. Just wondering how much the transmission could handle without major damage or if putting a turbo on the PZEV 2.0i would even make much of a difference. Ideas/thoughts?

having boosted many a n/a vehicle before.. it's a helluva lot more complicated than just "putting a turbo on"

that said - the cvt as it stands now won't take the beating. The technology will certainly mature but right now, the cvt in *your* car will not take the torque that a turbo will produce. You might say - what about a low boost situation... and i might reply.. with the amount you'd spend, be it a kit or a custom application - better off selling the car and buying a wrx

No offense but thought this was the NA thread not the NA with bolt on forced induction thread... Just sayin might get some better responses there then here where most of us guys are building Franken motors or stuffing big NA engines in our 10-20 year old cars.
