Post Can I use 2.5L clutch on 2.2L tranny???

I called the dealer and they have different part #'s for the 2.2L and 2.5L clutches.

I was wondering if you can use the 2.5L clutch with the 2.2L flywheel and tranny.

I think JC Sports said the flywheels are the same but I'm not 100% sure.

I'm thinking about getting an aftermarket clutch but most of the good ones are made for the 2.5L trannys.

Anyone know???

Yes the tranny is the same from a turbo 2.2 in the USA. Alot of people have done motor swaps to the 2.2 turbo block with 2.5 rs heads.I know the tranny hooks right up.

I'm running a 2.5RS tranny with my 2.2l engine. The clutch disc and pressure plates are 100% exactly the same.
