John New(Thorn) for making those calls for to XX Tuning and finding me that mid pipe, as well as offering me rides when I need them. After installing a short throw shifter I let a buddy of mine borrow to car to test the shifter out. When he got back he parked it on a hill and forgot to put the e-brake on . He said he thought he left it in gear. Well the car rolled down a hill took out a lawn angel, got scratched by a tree and hit a rock garden. The rocks bent my rim, slashed my tire and crushed my exaust. That was the extent of the damage. But he is a great friend of mine and he is putting the car back together so I am a little sad but I think the car should be fine.

manchild83... I've done that very same thing when I had my 81 Subaru DL crap brown 4 door in High School.

Parked it at a friends house on a hill, pulled the e-brake, thought it was in gear.

Went inside the house, watching a little TV when we hear this "EEEEEeeeeeee" metal scraping sound. Looking at the direction where it was coming from, I see the front end of my car disappear backwards from the window we were looking out....

I don't think I've ever ran so fast out of a house.... only to watch it go down the hill about 50 feet or so, across the road (thank goodness it was a dead end) at the bottom, and smash into a concrete post that was there to protect the little fenced power conversion area thingie at the bottom.

The neighbors came out and we all looked and stared at the car... the rear fender went up and over the 2 or 3 foot high post and the top of it was wedged between the rear bumper and the gas tank (there was about a 1 foot area there)... but all smashed in.

It only took 3 people to lift the rear of the car up and over the post... and the car was still drivable... it was a HS crapbox car... so it had a little battle scar... no biggie.

But the point of this is... Yvan Eht NioJ

"Yes, the Navy has always used three types of recruiting- Subliminal, Linimal, and Super-Linimal."
"Super-Liminal?"
"Yeah, [opens window] HEY YOU, JOIN THE NAVY!"

Woa I just forgot about my car, all I want to do now is join the Navy. Does the fact that I am Jamaican hurt my chances of getting in.
