I have no bad comments about the muffler.
I have the muffler only, they did not have the cat-back system when I bought mine. If you want a sporty exhaust without all the noise, this is great. It has just eough deep tone to keep me satisfied, exspecially with an intake. As for horsepower there might be a one or two hp increase if even that. You won't really notice it. You notice a change if you change the entire exhaust system and add an intake. |

Probably because he has decided to "graduate" to a straight-through muffler. What would be really interesting would be to see a flow comparison on an STi muffler and the Brospeed. I bet they'd be really close, but I'd be curious as to which was the best, since between the two of them it seems they have the non-straight through Impreza muffler upgrade market cornered.

V6,
For the price that they are asking for that Brospeed, you could buy a nice straight through design and get an aluminized mandrel bent piping done at a local muffler shop andd get a bonafide HP increase. IIRC, the Brospeed is also heavier than the stock unit. There are a couple of Edmonton guys who have aftermarket exhausts. If you came to one of our meets, you could check them out. Cheers, MB BTW, could you please respond to my Xmas meet post in the Canada Forum. Thanks! |
