I'd love to hear more about this tire....... how many folks have tried it, and what would you compare it to in terms of performance, ride quality, noise etc?

And has anyone ever dealt with these folks?

http://www.roadwaywholesaletire.com/...clenum=027-345

Seems like a great price on the Fuzions to me.....(and other brands too)

it's a pretty good tire when it comes to ride quality and wear but, does not have the "top gun" performance of many other tires

How would you compare it to the ride/grip of the pilot sport a/s?

I'm still debating..... if it is safe to run the pilot sport a/s 225/45/17 on a 7" rim at 31 all around, I may just get another set - I don't need any more grip than that, and at those pressures, the ride is very smooth but still responsive. If there is any summer only tire that beats this combo and ride quality, let me know - but as far as I can see, nothing even comes close to the grip of the a/s, given the ride quality, - even many summer tires can't match the gforce numbers.

Max grip and max comfort without feeling 'slush' on the turns...... for the money, it looks like the fuzion may be the tire, but there are no tests posted? I'd love to see the gforce/ride/noise numbers on it.

bump..... anyone have any more info/experience with these?

Luke - why is the tirerack only selling one size in this tire, and no tests/reports or listing in the survey? (205/55/16)

Ah, I see the links on TR are fixed

Luke - how would you compare the fuzion to the 750 or the 950?

In doing many searches, looks like there were to be tested a while back, why no results posted?

Any idea what the skid pad numbers are wet/dry?

FYI - the only review/comparison I have found re: the Fuzions:

http://www.detnews.com/2004/autoscon...d03-204889.htm

Looks like they are potentially better than ES100's, which means decent for the cost -

Luke - when is Tirerack going to post any real data about these?

This tire is much more a marketing exercise than an engineering breakthrough. If it was one of Bridgestone's best tires, you can be sure it would say "Bridgestone" on the sidewall.

I'd take another look at Luke's assessment:

Notice he didn't even say "some other tires", he said "many other tires".

True - the design looks a lot like a rebadged G009 to me (which are fairly decent tires, and great tires for most cars as a daily driver)

I'd just like to see some real data on them, since the reviews have been quite positive. I don't auto X or track my car, just spirited street driving, so while I'd like the max response, I don't know that I need quite the max grip (just enough that I won't exceed it in street driving). The feel of 'rails' without the need to take a hairpin at 100mph, if you know what I mean...

The Falken 451 looks good, and if the Fuzion has 'enough' grip, it might be a better choice for me, since I don't want a harsh ride/too much noise. For a tire that has so much web PR, there are no real industry reviews or tests, which I find very odd from a large company like Bridgestone.

Default getting them now

I'm leaving now to get a set mounted on 17x7.5 SSR Comps. Replacing SO3's that are worn badly and currently very loud. I loved the SO3's, but am having trouble justifying another $800 for the short life.

PS...my car is quite badly out of alignment so the SO3's wore very unevenly in the back, I'm also getting full alignment done tomorrow and will post about the Fuzion ZRi's in a couple of days.
