I have been looking around here and other places on the net and can't decide which boost controller to go with. I am planning on running 22-24 psi and want an EBC that is easy to use and gives a consistent, non-spikey setting. I have searched on this forum a couple of times and found no info about which boost controller is better than another. FYI, I do not auto-x, so that is not a consideration.
This is what I will be running once I get my car back together: JDM V7 STi 2.0 Litre block JDM V7 STi Heads APS Cold Air Intake Perrin Silicone Turbo Tube FP Green Turbo TurboXS / Hyperflow FMIC Tial Blow Off Valve Ported/Polished Tumblers with removed butterflies Perrin Fuel Rails Modified Stock Injectors Walbro Fuel Pump Topspeed header (wrapped) TurboXS Up-pipe (wrapped) Helix Downpipe (wrapped) RS*R Exmag GT2 Catback Hydra Stand Alone EMS C&R Aluminim Radiator Crucial Racing Systems Thermostat Crucial Racing Systems Radiator Cap Samco Upper Radiator Hose Samco Lower Radiator Hose Helix Oil Catch Can I am looking into the A'pexi AVC-R, the Blitz SBC-iD III or the GReddy Pro-Fec B Spec II. I have talked to Dan at Godspeed and he recommends the Blitz or the A'pexi. Any help would be appreciated because I can't find anything that seems to help. All the info I find seems to be taken from the manufacturer and gets me no where. Thanks, Nick

I'm going to get a utec most likely but have heard that an ebc or mbc would be better for boost response. I like the capability of the AVC-R, as for the Blitz, I'd rather not shell out the cash for both the SBC-id & Power-id to get a speed dependant boost adjustability. I wish the AVC-R supported the 6speed... Are there any better options? Should I just get a TXS HPMBC? Thanks, Masuo Last edited by dorao; 07-12-2004 at 07:46 PM. |

I ended up going with the Blitz. I found one cheap.
If you do go with the HPMBC, I have one for sale. If interested, let me know. Nick |
