Default biggest tire on stock OBS wheels

Does anyone know what is the largest all-terrain tire that will fit on the stock 97 OBS steel wheel?

I want to take one of my OBS wagons to the outer banks for surf fishing (and Island Beach State Park in NJ) but I DO NOT want to get stuck. I want a large footprint and the ability to air down to 12-15 PSI for the beach but I dont want to rub anything. I figure I could keep this tire/wheel setup laying around and just bolt them up when I need to.

Thanks for any info.

Default experts?

What I want to do is mount some 235-70 15s on a spare set of stock wheels. I would only use them when driving (legally) on certain beaches (OBX and NJ) for surf fishing.

The Tire Rack info says that this size will fit a rim width between 6.0 and 7.0 in.

I need to know if the overall circumference will clear suspension, steering and bodywork on my '97 OBS.

Has anyone tried on any Impreza or Legacy?
