Post AT oil cooler (Hayden 403)

Ok I just got the AT oil cooler from pepboys. For those of you that have this, did you cut the one hose in half? Stick one that goes from the radiator - cooler and the other one from cooler to the coupling to original oil return? is that how it is? Instead of using the coupling directly to the radiator, use it to connect 2 hoses? Also (just to make sure) is the return line the one on all the way at the bottom on the passenger side? TIA

Thanks. Well I just finished installing everything and everything looks like its ok. I used the coupling that came w/ the kit to connect the hose from the cooler to the hose that goes to the tranny. Is that what everyone else did? I also just stuck the zip post through the AC condenser only and not through the AC and radiator. (I didn't want to take out the fans and saved time).

$39 from pepboys. I'm thinking of getting the gauge that tells the temp of the oil. I think its $35 for the gauge, and its the same makers of the cooler. Its hanging near the coolers.

I was hoping to ask you what the temperature difference is that you noticed once you installed the cooler. When you get the gauge, please post the temps on your car at various loads and speeds. I don't have any room for any more gauges so I didn't buy one.

I've had it installed for for a few weeks now and it inspires confidence to say the least.
