Question 1.8/ 2.2/ 2.5 engine harness compatibility q's....

Does anyone know if the engine harness is compatible from 94 impreza 1.8 model and the '98 2.2 impreza model?

I know that the '98 will probably have extra wires for emmissions and OBDII, but i was wondering if the rest of the wiring and connectors were the same.

Thanks for any info.

I'm talking about the engine wiring harness that goes from the engine bay through the firewall. I'm also talking about the connector at the ECU.

Most likely all you should have to change is the intake manifold to make everthing work. I can't remember all the specifics off hand, but if you need more info e-mail me
