Question Engine Swapping

What Subaru Engines can be swapped and put under the hood of the 2.5 RS?? Short of putting all the goodies in it, one at a time... I'd like to know if its possible just to simply put a killer engine in there and leave it like that.

Also, is it only Subaru engines that we can put in there?

If possible, can anyone tell me how much this would all cost?

thanks guys..

-Kevin

With enough money, you can do just about anything.

The majority of people that swap out the engines go to the Japanese WRX. It's pretty expensive. Lots of wiring changes, but it bolts right on.

Some people are speculating that the new H6 will fit. It's only .8 inches longer. Not been does as far as I know as of yet. I'm sure somebody will do it sooner or later.

If you really want lots more juice, it's just going to cost a lot.

Yup. Money is the key. If you really have alot. You can strap on a Pratt & Whitney Jet Engine on it which can deliver 21,000lbs of thrust.

Whoa...babie!!!

"mmmmm, fleet of Lamborghinis ..."
(one color per day of the week ? ;-)

"...Trim Details: The 2000 Lamborghini Diablo is available in a single trim. Safety features include dual airbags, an anti-lock brake system (ABS), and full-time all-wheel drive. Powering the Diablo is a 6.0-liter V12 engine that pumps out a whopping 550 horsepower"

something like 3.5sec 0-60 I think !

Yeah. It would have alot of problem going thru some autoX cones.
Well as long as banheist knows what I mean that money is key. It would really suck to be stuck behind that truck at the lights.
