Please help me with my S-afc
i just got it and dont understand
why they have a high setting and a low setting.
do i use the same numbers in both or what.
i have a Auto my98 with k&n and also stromung dual tip, thanks for the help...
also any other things i need to know about?

Hight thrtl is for the more agrsv settings and low thrtl is for more mild settings.
For exmpl: Hight thrtl is when you floor it and want the S-AFC to make the biggest changes
Low thrtl is for when you are just crusin and don't want or need the (big changes)
I had mine set at 80% for high thrtl with all the settings on the S-AFC for 80% and above.
My low thrtl setting was at 30% but I did not have any changes in the S-AFC for the low thrtl setting.
So I only had the S-AFC make changes at 80% open thrtl and above as I did not see a piont for changes any other time.
I have a 99 rs hopes this helps some

I have mine set for "lo-throttle" being less than 15% of full throttle position, and "hi-throttle" being for above 50% of full throttle position. You can set this for whatever you want, but with my turbo, I can get 5-7 psi at as low as 25-30% throttle position (when going uphill or against a load). With cruise control on, it rarely goes above 16-17% throttle position to maintain speed. So, that's how I chose my numbers.
But lets assume it is set for 30% "lo" and 80% "hi", like Liquid Calm. Did you know the AFC extrapolates the numbers between the 30% low throttle setting and the 80% high throttle setting?
So, let's assume you have "zero" enrichment for anytime you are under the low throttle set-point, and you have 20% enrichment anywhere above the high throttle set-point -> then at 55% throttle (midway between hi and lo) you will get 10% enrichment. It continuously varies the enrichment above lo-throttle until you reach high throttle, blending the increase.
I have no idea how John at JC Sports wired this into my MY00 with 5V front O2 sensor, but he says the ECU will NOT relearn the AFC adjustments the way he wired it in.
