Smile Edmonton SOLO II event #4

That was fun!

Anyway, the point of this post is to gauge interest in a compilation of runs at the event. I have 2 runs from all the Suby Drivers and all 4 of my feeble attempts at running. I'm putting together a video regardless of what people want, it's just a matter of who wants it.

If you are seriously against your car being in this video send me a PM and I will make sure it's left out.

on a side note: was 52 seconds pretty bad for my first time out?

That's cool that you managed to get video of the runs! Don't worry about being competitive the first time you are out. The most important thing is having fun, learning from more experienced drivers and seeing what you can work on.

I definitely learned from the more experienced drivers... Especially on how to hit cones and miss turns (choughchriscough)

I don't think anyone had a perfect day... Not saying I expected anyone too... I just found it a little amusing how many of the experienced driver took out cones.

I did have fun for sure, and i'm wanting to do it again for sure!

Oh! I didn't realise that was you SFM! I think I still said hi anyway. Ya, you were doing great! I didn't think it was your first time! I had a whole lotta fun at that event. It was an awsome day! I realised a new technique by watching a more experienced driver (mark) and had fun trying to emulate. Got some decent times too!

I didn't think you realized it... I was gonna say something... but I figured you had more "important" things on ur mind (like trying to keep off pylons like me)

We take out cones b/c we are at or beyond the limit of the car. That's my story and i'm stickin' to it!! I think my raw times will prove that. Oh yah, and i'm still learning on the R compounds.

And that particular incident i was um, distracted.....by, um.....the loud rumbling in my car at the time.

As for the vids, could u send me vids of my runs, and go ahead and put them in ur compilation. I got no jist w/ that......that is of course i look like an ass on course.

Nice meeting you SFHM. Hopefully next time we'll have more time to chat. It was a busy day.
