Question Is it bad to change the engine oil and automatic transmission oil at 2-3000km??

After the first 2-3000km break in period, I go to the dealer to have the engine oil and automatic transmission fluid change. But the dealer told me that it is not recommand to change the oil so early. He said I should change the oil at 6000km and because of the addictives in the oil does not have enough time to help the engine break in.

So is it harmful to the car if change the engine oil and automatic transmission oil at the first 2-3000km?

Also I like to change the engine oil and the automatic transmission oil to all fully synthetic oil, is it not suitable for using fully synthetic oil in both engine and automatic transmission?

Thanks very much.

I'm not sure what the km compared to miles is. The breakin for the 01 RS is 1000 miles. I advise NOT to change to a fully synthetic oil. The reason is the rings on your pistons still need to set, if you put synthetic they will not set correctly. I would not put in synthetic till well over 10,000 miles. Also I hear that Subuaru dealerships will not change the oil till after 1500 miles, something to do with the warranty.
