Question Greddy Rebic 3

A buddy of mine managed to land a Greddy Rebic III Fuel Injector Controller and wants to sell it for next to nothing. Now, I've only had my Impreza for a couple of months and I'm trying to plan out my upgrades for the future. Has anyone used this? Is it even compatible with the Impreza? Is it going to be worth installing before I get a turbo (which won't be for a year or two)?

Thanks

If you don't have a turbo, supercharger, nitrous, or a highly HIGHLY modified N/A motor, then it's not worth adding extra injectors.

What about for future applications? I was planning on going with Shiv's package (based on the amount of good things that I've heard about it). Will this hold any applicability to that? Sorry this is starting to sound like a newbe questionÖ but Iíd like to plan out my upgrade to this car so I can work out the money issue and budget it (I know this isnít going to work well cause Iíll spend 4 times what I set out to).

Thanks again.

Yeah, if you plan on going with Shiv's kit (which is a great idea if you're going turbo and have the money) then you won't need it at all. Shiv's kit runs 550 cc injectors (which are good up to around 300 hp). With the TEC-II you can run even larger injectors, if you want/have to. There would be no need to run extra injectors with the TEC-II.

Ah wonderful. Iíll use the money for other toys. I can barely wait for my engine warranty to end so I can order the turbo package (and to think Iíve only had her for 2 months).

Thank you for the quick replies and all the help.
