wheel adaptor...

have anyone use this wheel adaptor before?

it converts 5x100 to 5x114....

need to know if it works or not...thanks

i'm sure it works, but why?

that is going to be much weaker than the stock setup. and it also puts much more stress on your drivetrain.

you should avoid putting any type of adapters or spacers between a wheel and the stock equipment

the reason y i ask..its because I got a really deal from my friend...he is selling a te37 with tires for only 800 bucks....the only problem is it got a 5x114 bolt pattern. even if i get the adaptor its going to cost me only 1050 total. still a great deal for those rims. What would happen if i do hook them up? would it be a problem in a long run? ...thanks in advance..

...don't forget the add the 15mm to the offset and I bet that once you do, you will find that they, the wheels, DON'T fit.

I replied to your other thread, I didnt see the adpater was 15mm thick, that reduces your offest to +33mm, you will have rubbing on your BG and advanced bearing wear. I'd wave off that deal. You might pass it one to one of the 05 STi guys or an Acura driver.
