Default WORK wheel +42 Offset???

would a +42 offset fit on my 04 wrx in a 17x7.5, 2 piece wheel such as the work mesister S2R......I just ordered them from japan and the rep and people at japan recommended the +42 offset rather than the +48 on the offset thread already posted..
i am concerned about fitment, especially in the futre when i decide to lower the car.....
can someone enlightin me on this issue?

You will be very close to the fender with that size. 48 would be perfect.

Either way the offset is too low and is going to move the wheel closer to the fender. Unless they have found a new way of measuring offset and are the only ones using it, the wheel will be close.
