Question I Believe that my MY99 is running Rich!!!

OK i have i have all bolt on mods...I have a intake, Apex N1 with 2 1/4 piping exhust, and a underdrive pulley. I have carbon build up on my muffler and sometimes hesitation about 5000 rpm's. What do you all think???

Hesitation at 5000 rpm is from running lean, the carbon buildup on your muffler if from the gases cooling. That and everyone gets some carbon build up there.

Check your plugs and let us know if they are carboned...

All tips get black. Get an A/F or EGT gauge to tell if you're running rich... it's the only way to know for sure.
