Help: Bronze finish dulled...Anything I can do?

First of all thanks for your time...

I just noticed that my bronze volks (Te37s) looked really dull today for some odd reason...The closer i looked at them, it seemed like it was due to some degreaser/bleach spray used at my stupid car wash...

I frantically went to autozone and picked up a jar of Mothers all purpose metal polish since Volks aren't painted...

They do look much better, but im convinced that some of the original luster is gone...

Is there anything you guys can recommend for me?
