Question Stromung, Weapon R, and.....

Ok, I am going to order those parts, unless someone has a better idea. However, do I really need to get a chip or can I just reset the ECU? If reseting the ECU (by disconnecting the battery right?) works, then wouldn't getting a chip also work but yeild a few more horsies?
Thanks Alot!!!

First don'y bother with the weapon R your wasteing your money. For an intake go with Larry's or if you can afford it go with cobb's (that's what I orderd) But plan to what awhile for it. With the stromung I don't have any knowledge with that so Iam not sure but if you what HP like everyone does go with a full cold air.

First off, which "chip" are you referring to? As far as I know, there aren't any off the shelf chips you can just slap on. You'd have to get a fuel controller, or a whole new standalone engine management system ala Tec-II, Haltech, Motec, etc...

And yea, if you can afford it, get Cobb's intake, or Rallispec's. With that said, the Weapon R is good, but is basically the same piece of pipe that is sold by everyone else (Minnam/Technik, JC Sports, etc.)
