Terrible Misfire when cold???

I have a 1993 2.0 turbo which has a terrible misfire when it is cold.
When i start up the car when cold, it runs on a perfect idle until about 1 minute later when the idle drops down to about 400 - 500 rpm and wants to stall, but if i blitz it down the road seems to clear it self.

ANY IDEAS???

any help would help
