Post Will the Stromung work with a Turbo?

I'm planning on staying the N/A route for as long as I can, but I did want to get an intake and exhaust.. and I was considering the stainless steel, single tip Stromung. Would this exhaust work ok if I do get a turbo kit at a later point in time? I know that for a turbo, a 2.5" pipe is preferred, but I would keep the stock pipe for now, and just have the Stromung muffler. Once I add the turbo kit, I would exchange the midpipe. Which brings me to my next question... Is the Stromung intermediate pipe (2.25") ok for a turbo? If not, how much would it cost to get a 2.5"+ pipe that would bolt on to a Stromung muffler?

The stromung 2.25" is too small for a turbo - I just sold mine for a 2.5" one peice stainless exhaust.

However, Stromung is supposed to have a 2.5" turbo muffler out by the end of the month!

OK, I figured the pipe would be too small.. how about the muffler itself?

Along with this, does anyone have pics of the single tip Stromung installed? I see pictures of the dual tip all over the place, but never saw the single tip muffler installed yet. I want to see if it would look too big, in which case I might have to go with a dual tip...

Question

Speaking of Stromung, they work better than Scoobiesport in terms of providing more HP for an NA car right?

And is Stromung the one with the very very deep and bassy "vroom"?

sorry newbie questions here... but since we were on the topic....

You can use the stromung, but you need a 2.50 mid pipe made up for the turbo.Any muffler shop should be able to do this for you a 100 bucks or so.

Fellfrosch7,

I have the Stromung Stainless Single tip on my car and it doesn't look too big. I like the look of the single better than the dual. I will try and get a digital camera and take a picture for you.
