Default FS:STi V7 Shortblock- with spun bearing (perfect for rebuild!!)

Up for grabs! My STi V7 Shortblock with about 8000 mies on it. It has a spun rod bearing according to the shop. The cylinder walls are perfect as far as I can tell and the pistons look good. It is a complete 2.0L short block. It has not been disassembled. It got a rod knock after a drive one day so I replaced it with a US shortblock even though the US has weaker pistons. Block is located at FIS in McKinney Texas. It can be picked up there or I can ship it at the buyer's expense.

Asking $400

Is it a 2.0L or the 2.5L engine? Cuz if it's the Sti engine shouldn't it be the 2.5L

uhmm...if we're talking impreza's....

Ver 7 STI's were never exported to the U.S. so no 2.5 motor
This is most likely a JDM spec Ver.7 STI motor = 2.0L

No pics of it unfortunatly... If the buyer requests pics though, I'll go out to the shop and take some- it's an hour away.

I'm not sure, you'll have to do a search. It is a factory EJ207 block- 2002 model.

I'll have to go out there on a day off and it'll probably be in a week because I'm moving next weekend.

I'm guessing you are keeping the head for your 2.5L. If not I'm interested in those. PM me if you want to part with them.
