JDM STI wheels

Anyone know of any sources of information on the various parts available on the JDM STI's. I remember once seeing a site that had information on all the wheels ever available for the wrx and STI I thought.

The reason is that Im looking at wheels and considering botht he JDM STI wheels and the BBS wheels on the USDM STI's. The USDM I understand to be an upgrade over the JDM STI wheels in Europe and japan. Im looking for the weights of these wheels, dimensions, original maker, and manufacturing process(forged or cast). I know the USDM's are BBS, and I think the JDM's are Rays and cast, but Im unsure. If they are a light weight forged wheel, they might be worth looking at, you know. Well if anyone has any information on this, or a good source of information, I would apreciate it.

From here they are cast, weigh ~17.5lbs, are 17x7.5" with a +53 offset, and are made by Asahi Tec.

They're available from Mauro Motorsports and from several other vendors.

so how much do the BBS wheels weigh? i have found posts saying numbers all over the place. from 16-20 lbs

They came on a special edition STi called the Speed Shift in Australia:

I think I read they only made like 10 of these things so I am not sure if the dealer had the wheels powdercoated or if Subaru Australia made them.

USDM BBS sti wheels are FORGED, 17 x 7.5, 53 offset. weigh about 16.5 lbs each without the tire. perfect wheels imo.

oh btw. i am selling my set. they are silver. no tires. they are shod with Toyo T1-S in 225-45-17 havent decided if i want to include those with the wheels yet... pm me if interested.
