Default Intercooler

I just found this pic in jeffsnyder turbo kit.



Does this effect the flow, if not.. im going to do this on my intercooler so it's ez to get on and off my car, and it would also fit a whole lot better.

kinda ghetto fab'd but whatever floats ur boat. looks like flow will be ok, however note that the WRX one has two inlets on the intercooler so that the air flow pasts all the channels more evenly...

I thought that stuff had some expansion/flex to it under boost?

Not really, I am working on a combination of silicon hose with elbows. But silicon hose is expensive.
