Question Strange noise from low tire?

Here is the story my SSR 18's are bent, I have 225 width potenza pole s-03's currently. I am getting my new tires put on today because the one tire is wearing really bad and will not hold more then 15lbs of air. My question is about the rims that is wearing, the other day I hit a real bad pothole more then 5 inches deep and 14 inches long and I drove the car right to a gas station to check it out only a mile or so to check out how bad it was. It's not good to say the least. I drove the car right home and see that the tire is even lower, so I pump it up but it just will not take anymore then the 15lbs.
So I got my tires from Tire Rack (thanks Luke) and I have to drive to get my new tires mounted and I could hear a slight clunk coming from the back passenger side where the bent rim is. I had to open my windows to hear it. Any idea on what that noise is? My suspension is stock, CF strut bar and Cusco under carriage. I drove the car about a mile and change to the tire place... did I do any major damage?
And I know 18's all show and what not. Until I can get some gt7's to clear my BBK that's what I am using.

cliff notes: I drove my car on a low tire for about 3 total miles and hear a clunk coming from it, any ideas on what it is?

If the rim is bent and not holding air, why are you still putting new tire on it?

The tire went to low then driving on it damaged the tire. I put the new tires on because i have to drive the car to the place to get the rim bet back, and to go the few mile to work today.

Thanks Luke the tires are great! They look well like you said but i could careless about that.

The noise is gone must have been the rim on the 15lbs of air making the noise.

Maybe it was your rear differential crying about the diameter inequality?
