Talking Wonder Woman - Complete first season on DVD!

Wonder Woman!

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet........

Quote:
Meet the United States' secret and most beautiful weapon in the fight against tyranny: Wonder Woman! Season One of Wonder Woman (the Pilot Movie and 13 regular episodes) retains the World War II era of the super heroine's early comic book adventures. Also captured is the exuberant tone of a comic book come to screen life as the warrior princess, empowered by her sense of a woman's worth and by the mysterious substance Feminum that's found only on her remote native isle, battles a succession of Nazi baddies. Former Miss USA Lynda Carter stars as the heroine who hides her identity behind the oversized glasses of a War Department functionary. But when duty and danger call, she transforms. And the wonders never cease.

Editor's Note

Lynda Carter became an immediate superstar in 1976 when she stepped into the costume of comic book superhero Wonder Woman. The live-action adventure, based on the original comic book series, is set during the tumultuous World War II period. A former princess-turned-superhero, Wonder Woman will do whatever it takes from stopping the evil Nazis from taking over the world. With the help of her magic belt, bulletproof bracelets, and magical lasso, Wonder Woman does her part to make the world a better, safer place. This release contains the pilot movie and all thirteen episodes from the show's first season.

I was a Barbie girl, though and through. I had the Barbie horses, the Barbie corvettes, the Barbie mobile home, the Barbie pool - the whole Barbie world.

The greatest part? It was all smuggled in! Mattel participated in the sanctions after SA, but my dad would somehow bring the stuff in when he traveled for work or ordered it from the US, somehow.

I had illegal toys. That's right.

(These also included My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake, Herself the Elf and various board games.)

The reason I like the lasso is twofold:

1. It can be used to tie up a hot guy

2. It forces ppl to tell the truth

The possibilities are endless.

With the DVD version, you can use frame-by-frame during the transformation spin to get that one split-second where she's naked.
