GT3 What is better the race or the replay?

It's funny will all of the amazing cars in GT3 I find myself watching the whole replay most of the time just to see the cars. No one problably cares but just my two cents.

Replays are great. Too bad the PS2 doesn't have HDTV support or you could probably convince some people that some of that replay footage is real. The filters and blur effects they use are great. GT4 should be even better.

Hell, I only play to watch the replays. Take 2 laps in the sunday cup with the ZZII or R34 toying with them the whole time, only to destroy them where you know the camera angles are gonna be best. Watch replay, new car, repeat.

Sucks that the game will not be out until the fall/winter. As a software engineer I understand that problems during development arise but this is rediculous, the game should have been out already. Yeah HDTV would be nice, maybe in PS3.

I wouldn't say its ridiculous. Games are getting considerably more complicated and to put out a good product it takes time. Just look at the fact that Doom 3 and Half Life 2 are just coming out now after 5 years.

The amount of artwork and programming needed for GT4 (particuarly due to the online system) is pretty substantial.

doom3 and hl2 are intentionally delayed to give nvidia enough time to get their act together to create video drivers that can handle direct x 9 and be able to play the game. if the games were realesed as planned, it would alienated half of the potential buyers / players due to the fact that at least half of them are using the geforce series cards.
