Default WRX injectors

I'm sure this has been asked before but i will ask it again. Can i use factory WRX injectors in my 2000 RS-t. I've heard that i need a 99 intake manifold, but iv'e heard that that is just a myth. i already have new orings to put on the wrx injectors. also i've heard on my 2000 manifold i need to disconnect the Air injection system. I that true and why?
