Default Are winter rims / tired needed here for STI?

How do the BBS's hold up in these mostly mild DC area winters? Would it be wise to buy a cheep set of rims (any recomendations? )

Do we even need winter tires? I've only lived here 2 years now and the winters are pretty embarasing compared to michigan I know my stock tires wont do but do we need Blizzak or will a nice set of high performance all seasons do just fine.

thanks !

All seasons are fine around here, not enough snow to worry about winter tires. I run the much hated stock (on RS and WRX) RE92's in the winter, no problems on those.

Ultra high performace all seasons(oxymoron) are just fine around here even in "heavy" snow. I opted for winter rims cuz I'd hate to have some a$$hat damage my BBS while mounting and unmouting tires every year...

Rota's are very popular around here($600 a set), I have a set of Tarmac IIs.

Here is a local sale...
