Thumbs up 7/25 AutoX pics

I was taking pics during the fun runs. I'm practicing my action photography. I think some of them came out pretty nice....

They let the M3 drive with the hood like that? Seems like a significant safety issue.

Nice pics. Either you got a lot of lens on there or you're very brave.

Those came out pretty nice. Whats the deal with the M3's hood?

He was having motor trouble during the day, he probably got excited that he fixed it and ran out to run. I'm surprised they let him

Even if the hood opened, it wouldn't really block anything/be as dangerous, as the hood opens from the windshield forward, not like most other cars.

Nice pics!!

Is it just me, or does anyone else immediately think of "The Homer" whenever they see an STI?

Hehe...at the BMW auto-x this past weekend, I popped my hood to let the car cool down. Well, the runs were going so fast that after I popped my hood, I had to run. Got in the grid. Totally forgot I had popped my hood. Went to stage. Drove by 3 people working the grid and no one said a thing to me. Finally the starter stopped me right before the starting lights. Would not have been good if my hood opened during mid-run.

Well the starter caught it... he's the last one to make sure all is well beore you go out... helmet, seatbelt, tire on the wheel, etc...

Grid says...get up there.
