Angry People that pound on their keys while typing are going to be the death of me!

I cannot stand this!!! You don't have to hit your keys at 50,000 PSI to get them to work. It's worse than listening to the Tell Tale Heart for a whole day.

At the last office I worked in I finally had to move my desk because I had a keyboard smasher sitting next to me.

Well, I can't type the right way so I have to 'hunt-and-peck' the keys and when I get on a roll it can get quite loud.

If they piss you off, just take a break and page through a magazine while you shear through each page with your thumb and index finger until you get all of the annoying sound from the pages..They'll get a point.

If you got a white board to write on, the marker noises can be very beneficial too.

If that still doesn't do it. Teleconference with the highest volume while on speakerphone setting.

I can't do that. I am in an all day test that has some work to do on the computer and the person in front of me is a keyboard smasher. It is a small room so it won't matter where I work.

you'd hate my keyboard..

I use one of those old IBM non-windows key having metal plated clicky keyboards.

I don't even have to pound of them for them to make a lot of noise..
and that's how I like it.

I would loan you my shooting muffs or ear plugs then...Ask to be place in another room or keep clicking away at your pen until the noise balances out.

I have a clickity-style keyboard; not quite a bad as Fishy's though. I am guilty of hitting the keys with force; always have been. I also type really quickly so it's kind of a rapid fire thing.

My girlfiend does that on her laptop. Can't stand it. I'm like, "the letters aren't gonna come out any faster if you bang it harder..."

I hate that **** too. Instead of unleashing my anger on the keyboard (it's too nice of a wireless to **** it up) I'll just hit a newborn baby

Typewriters probably trained her to pound those keys

You know those movies where they have those 1337 computer guys, and the keyboard sounds SO damn sweet?

I have yet to find a keyboard that makes the sound they do

There's just a specialized sound the hacker-style keyboards in movies make.. and I want to find one.

My roomate does this. I actually had to ask him to type quieter after he kept me up 3 nights in a row on some rampant AIM crusade.. mind you were both 24. So instead of learning to type quieter, or buying a >5.00 keyboard he chose to pad his entire room with accoustic foam. ***? the ladies love it.
