Safe to say that this is a direct bolt in for the WRX that allows one to throw in a 6-speed and not have to change ring and pinions or do the crazy expensive R180 rear swap? If so I think I'll take the VLSD diff if Nick doesn't want it.

Trent (peepshow) and I will be heading to Chicago Sunday to pick up his new motorbike so it could be delivered sooner. I'll have to figure out when to meet up w/Todd if it's needed that early though.

Offer still stands for most stuff being shuttled to and from Chicago to SE MI.

Just keep me informed via PM or cell phone.

Nick, let me know what one you'd like and I'll work it out with Myk on how we get it to him (and then you)and how money comes back to me.

KKoepp - not sure about the direct bolt in, but probably. I originally purchased it to swap in to my SVX if I came across a deal on a 6 speed. Priorities have changed and I'm clearing out old parts. If Nick doesn't want it, it's yours. I'm in Shelby Twp, but travel for work. Maybe we can arrange a meeting place?

just to chime in but im sure you know the legacy T viscous diff needs legacy T axles as well.

make sure you get the right diff and if needed right axles.

<--------just went through lots of headaches trying to make diffs work.

Oh really? Was figuring that they'd be drop in's. Probably won't take it if that's the case as I could just get a ring an pinion and go the easy route.

Yeah the Legacy T uses stubs coming from the LSD. I have 2 of those LSD units right now and one set of Legacy T axles. The axles are also too short to use on a WRX Sedan. Can just swap the WRX LSD unit into it and the driveshaft attachment in the front. (The legacy T propshaft is a little different than the WRX one)

I can sell you the LSD and axles, but I want to hang onto the 3.9 ring and pinion. There is a junkyard here I got an EJ22T out of, I'm going to call them next week and see if I can get the rear diff out of the car, then I'll have one to sell.

Neal,

Have you seen this thread? Still need the diff?

Scoobyslack - as I stated earlier, I've got two 3.90's and both are for sale if you are interested.

I've got two Neal, though it appears the LSD unit is spoken for.

Do you want the open unit for the ring and pinion?
