Exclamation Finally got my KVR rotors from the group buy

Yea, i got'em and they look goooood. I got the BLACK plating and it isn't the most uniform plating job i've seen but i don't think they "dip" them it looks like a CVD (chemical vapor deposition) process, which creats "shadows" around things. (i know this cause CVD is what i've been doing for the last year)
I wanna apoligise to Jack for getting inpatient about the time frame, i know things take time and was simply worried bout were my money went.
There here, i'm happy.....it's alll good.

Jack....Thank you for giving up a set of YOUR OWN rotors for me.
respectfully

Hey, what does freezing do? I've never heard of this.

My rotors are arriving (as soon as I pick them up) today.

RE: Cryogenic Tempering

I just wanted to update you on some information on cryogenic tempering. I have found Advanced Cryogenics on Orlando Florida that will cryo treat brake rotors for $35 each and is willing to do one for free is you send in 4 rotors.

I had my rotors cryo'd @ www.300below.com

They charged $1.50/lb for 1-9rotors,with a minimum charge of $49.50

My 4 rotors weighed 46lbs, to cryo them cost $69.00 of course shipping back to me from Illinois to NY was $20...

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with the work done to mine and the rotors themselves.
